AQUA-BOARD

If
your cellar is very old and the walls and
floor very uneven, then you can use AQUA-BOARD
to “tank” the area to create
a new floor and wall surface so that you
can re-plaster the walls or lay a sub-floor.
AQUA-BOARD
is a high-density, high-strength,
polyethylene dimpled sheeting that can be
installed on the walls, floor or ceiling
of your cellar to create an air and drainage barrier. The
sheets are fastened to the walls with special
plastic washers and provide a stable surface
to accept new .

| AQUA-BOARD
creates an insulating barrier over a cold cement
floor, and provides an even, stable surface on which
to install a plywood sub-floor ready for installing
carpeting, tiling, hardwood, etc. When installed
on the walls, AQUA-BOARD
readily accepts a plaster finish and the special
‘double-dimple’ design means that less
plaster material is required. |
| It is always
advisable before installing AQUA-BOARD
to seal the walls and floor with either our AQUA-STOP
or AQUA-BLOCK
products. This will ensure that the finished area
is dry and free of damp musty smells caused by trapped
moisture. |
